Apple took the stage on September 9, 2026 and unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max — and this isn't just another incremental update. With the world's first variable aperture camera on a smartphone, Face ID finally moving under the display, the blazing A20 Pro 2nm chip, and Apple's own C2 modem, the iPhone 18 Pro is one of the biggest leaps Apple has made in years.

The iPhone 18 Pro keeps the titanium-frame build from the 15 Pro generation, but makes one key change upfront — the Dynamic Island is noticeably smaller. Apple moved more Face ID components under the display, freeing up room for three Live Activities simultaneously.
