GALAXY S8 Here's what we know.

Samsung is counting on it's newest smartphone to help redeem them and be their saving grace after last year's Note 7 bombed at the market both literally and figuratively!

Contrary to most leaks Samsung has decided against launching the latest Galaxy phone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.You probably won't see it until the second quarter of this year, but that doesn't mean there isn't anything to report.Ever since the start of this month the rumour mill has been in overdrive, and new leaks pop up almost everyday. Things that are definitely expected to be seen is a faster processor(Snapdragon 830 or 835), more durable glass surround, 4k display and precise eye sensing tech(including Note 7's retina scanner being carried over).There has been a lot of buzz on the exact specs but nothing has yet been confirmed. The chatter on rumor websites suggest that Samsung Galaxy S8 features will revolve around improving security while increasing speed, productivity, and making both the S8 and S8 Edge more functional. The eye sensing technology has been at the center of this for quite some time, and it seems that the retina eye scanner in both S8 models will be quite responsive and register in no time.

In the screen department the new Corning Gorilla glass will significantly improve both the durability of the screen and remove side bezels in both models. Both models are expected to encased completely in glass, so you'd probably need a case right of the bat for your new shiny toy.
The camera is expected to compete with the likes of the iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel, as Samsung always brings their a-game when it comes to snapping quality shots.
